1964-1970 Kennedy Half Dollars
The Kennedy Half Dollar was initially struck for circulation with silver content. The coins produced in 1964 contain 90% silver, while the issues from 1965 to 1970 contain 40% silver.
These years were struck in relatively high mintages with the exception of the 1970-D Kennedy Half Dollar, which was only included in Mint Sets. As a result, the mintage was a low 2,150,000.
